Rocky Tucker pianist extraordinaire

Rocky Tucker’s BIO:

“Rocky Tucker, who originally hails from Marquand, Missouri, is a much sought after pianist/accompianist who started playing piano at the age of 5.  By age 7, he was playing in church for services and accompanying soloist.  As a teenager, traveled extensively with gospel groups throughout the U.S., plus played for various civic and social functions throughout Missouri and surrounding states.  After moving to the St. Louis area in the early 1980’s, Rocky played for many years on the Lt. Robert E. Lee Showboat for shows and events.  Since that tiime, he has played in many clubs, for private corporate and social events, many theater and cabaret shows in St. Louis and surrounding areas.  San Francisco, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Arizona and Florida, accompanying local artist such as Kim Masie, St. Louis legend Jeanne Trevor and Mae Wheeler, Deborah Sharn, and a host of other local St. Louis talent, including several jazz trios.  During this time, he appered and performed with many national gospel recording artists such as Vestal Goodman and such entertainment legends as Shelly Fabre, Loren Hutton, Tennesee Ernie Ford and a host of others.  When not on stage, he can often be found in a recording studio doing piano tracks for various albums and commercials.  Currently, he is working with Maggie Worsdale from New York on various cabaret shows and recording projects, having just returned from New York and Atlantic City where he recorded various piano tracks for Ms. Worsdale’s upcoming cabaret shows and album.  From gospel, rock, blues, jazz, standards, big band . . . and everything in between, Rocky has got it covered with his unique piano style, interpretation and arrangements!”
